Manager | Tax Business Services | $110k - $130k
Our client, a large national accounting firm with around 80 team members and located in the CBD is actively looking for a Manager in their business services team who is passionate about the business and has the ability to review the work of junior accountants. The present Tax Manager is moving back to his hometown thus creating an opportunity for a proven Business Services Manager to take over the team
You will be provided a portfolio of clients which you will manage. You will also delegate the work to your team members and review the work of your juniors. You will also be responsible to directly contact and manage staff who are from interstate.
You will be mentored to be a partner potential for the firm and grow your career and develop your business development, managerial and leadership skills. An expansion plan is currently in the talks therefore this is a company that is growing and progressing. This is a large National based company located in one of the most strategic location in Perth. You will enjoy first class facilities in the office and be part of one of the largest national firm in the country.
The Role
To succeed in this role, you should:
- Have very strong experience in supporting and leading a team of accountants
- Be able to provide the best advice to clients
- Possess strong knowledge of local tax and legislation
- Mentor junior accountants and assist in reviewing their work
- Have strong managerial skills and a positive attitude
- Have the initiative to develop your career
To be considered for this role it is essential that you should:
- CA or CPA qualified
- Very strong experience with client meetings, relationship building and taxation laws
- Have a team attitude and place importance of the interest of the clients and your team
- Possess determination to want to be a partner in the future and develop your career
