Manager | Accountant - Public Practice ($90k - $120k + Super)
Our client, a mid-sized Chartered Accounting firm in West Perth is actively looking for a business services accounting manager that has a proven track record in managing a team of accountants
Working in an open system where you will be able to work with all partners and team members of the accounting team, you will be able to develop your managerial skills, grow your network of clients and assist the partners in the firm to enhance and guide the young accountants that will you nurture and see them succeed at their work.
The Role
To succeed in this role, you should:
- Have very strong experience in supporting and leading a team of accountants
- Be able to work with different partners in the firm at different times
- Possess strong knowledge of local tax and legislation
- Mentor junior accountants and assist in reviewing their work
- Have strong managerial skills and a positive attitude
- Be yourself and wanting to develop your own career
To be considered for this role it is essential that you should:
- CA, IPA or CPA qualified or working you way towards your goal
- Very strong experience with client meetings, relationship building and taxation laws
- Have a team attitude and place importance of the interest of the clients and your team
- Possess determination to want to be a partner in the future and develop your career
