The superannuation division of this top tier professional services firm has gained the enviable reputation of being one of Australia's premier superannuation firms. Providing services to employer sponsored, industry and government superannuation funds as well as self managed superannuation funds. Employer sponsored funds include the Top 10 ASX listed firms. This particular role would suit a strong Senior Accountant to an Assistant Manager level. The role can be tailored to suit both the long and short term aspirations of the candidate best suited to match the firm's professional culture and ability to deliver first class outcomes on a wide range of challenging projects far removed from pure compliance.

This role will have major focus on large employer (ASX top 10 firms) sponsored, industry and Government funds. Some experience in APRA regulated corporate superannuation, is a distinct advantage. However your corporate super experience does not need to be extensive, as you will receive thorough training and mentoring from genuine experts in this field, who are not only extremely knowledgeable but also very supportive and approachable.

To be successful in the role you will need to demonstrate a professional attitude, exceptional communication skills, and highly developed technical skills within either APRA regulated funds (some experience required), Business Services, Tax, or SMSF, ideally gained in a large mid-tier or Big 4 firm. It is expected that you would have completed or be completing the CA program.

This role would cover a range of activities including:

Preparation of annual financial statements

Tax advice, effective tax rates and unit pricing

Tax compliance

BAS and GST advice

APRA reporting

Specialised project management and consulting engagements
