Our client is one of Australia’s leaders in property and investment. Their strategy of diversification and integration has enabled them to build a comprehensive investment portfolio that capitalises on a proven track record in development, construction, land subdivision, retirement village ownership and management, property investment and asset management.

We are currently seeking a Finance Manager to guide and lead a large team of Finance staff managing a major portfolio made up of multiple interstate assets and investments. This position is based in the Brisbane CBD head office.

As Finance Manager you will be responsible for providing strong leadership and direction to your team made up of qualified accountants and bookkeepers ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient operation and ensuring system improvements and compliance with policies and procedures. You will work with regional Management Accountants and operational staff to ensure effective financial guidance is provided to villages, as well as working with the Training Manager to facilitate accurate policies and procedures are kept and enforced.

To be successful in this role you will ideally have an understanding of the retirement/property management/strata title environments, demonstrated staff management and development skills, strong accounting process knowledge and a proven record of promotion for performance. It is essential that you are degree qualified in a relevant discipline. Preference will be given to those who are CA/CPA qualified.
