This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-known, leader in its' field. Due to company growth our client is seeking a Financial Accountant / Business Controller to join their team.
 
The ideal candidate will be a highly driven, hands-on, team player with a minimum of five years at senior financial accounting level and projects experience. A desire to progress through the 'ranks' and those specifically looking to take the next step in their career are encouraged to apply.  
 
 
Your main responsibility will be to review, support and control designated financial aspects of the organisation through the analysis and interpretation of project financial results and forecasts including but not limited to:  

• Reporting and preparation of monthly P&L's;  
  
• Preparation and review of sales analysis of product groups;  
  
• Forecasting;  
  
• Working with the tendering team to ensure profitability and cash flow of proposed tenders;  
  
• General Ledger reconciliations;  
  
• Identification of risks and provisioning as part of planned cost update (e.g. supplier and execution risks).  
  

 
You will have the ability to identify and define existing problems, excellent attention to detail, and the proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority. In addition to the day to day responsibilities you will also be involved in the continuous improvement of systems (SAP) and processes and various projects.

To be considered for this position you will be an experienced Financial Accountant with high attention to detail, excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability multi task and work under strict deadlines. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office is required and SAP systems experience is desirable. You will be degree qualified or equivalent and have either completed or are in the process of completing your CA/ CPA.
