Our client, a listed industry leader in oil and gas services, is seeking a Group Accountant to join their ever expanding finance team. As a market leader in their field, this business has an impressive history both in Australia and overseas.

Job Description

The key purpose of this role is to provide effective financial and commercial support to the organisation. Reporting to the Finance Manager for Australia the key responsibilities of the role will include:

· Preparation and execution of all monthly, quarterly and half yearly reporting;

· Liaison with external auditors;

· Overseeing and assisting with the preparation of consolidated management reports;

· Preparation, completion and submission of monthly profit & loss report;

· Preparation of the quarterly cash flow statement, responsible for budgeting and forecasting and reporting on divisional performance.

The Successful Applicant

To be considered for this role, the successful candidate will ideally be professionally qualified with experience in a similar role. You will also have financial reporting experience gained within a large international organisation. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable with regards to management reporting within a commercial setting and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
