About the role:
Having recently been in acquisition mode and expanding rapidly, the Group FC needs the help of a new set of financial hands!
You will be directly assisting (and learning from!) the young, knowledgeable and motivated Group FC in undertaking the following:
- Managing EOM for a number of local and international entities
- Analysing GL accounts for accuracy and reasonableness to support the annual audit and integrity of the financial data
- Co-ordinating tax compliance (including income tax, GST and exposure to deferred tax)
- Contributing strategic ideas to improve processes and procedures
- Consulting to provide technical assistance and support to your team and key international stakeholders
About you:
We are seeking someone who describes themselves as:
- Having at least 3-4 years' experience in commercial or chartered accounting
- Nearly/fully completed CA/CPA
- Self-sufficient and knowledgeable
- Motivated to advance your career
- Able to think outside the box to provide meaningful solutions
An extra added bonus would be working knowledge of the mining/engineering/manufacturing industries and multi-entity reporting.
