Part of a global professional services group, this business is a well respected name in the industry supporting a number a key institutions.  With the incumbent Snr. Financial Accountant going on Maternity Leave an opportunity has arisen for an immediately available candidate to secure a long term contact and the chance to work with a supportive manager who encourages development.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will have a broad role encompassing financial and management accounting.  Your responsibilities will include month end processing, statutory reporting, accruals and reconciliations and assistance with budgeting and forecasting.  Additionally you mentor an Assistant Accountant and supervise a small team of Accounts Clerks.

You will be CA/CPA qualified with a depth of experience with exposure to a range of accounting processes.  With a high level of organizational and communication skills you will have the ability to work autonomously and provide support and direction to the rest of the team.  This is an opportunity to prove your worth and stake your claim for the permanent role while seeing for yourself why this is a team you'll want to stay with.  Previous experience with Great Plains and prior exposure to US GAAP / SOX are highly desirable.
