Your hands-on experience in all facets of the Accounting Function within an SME business environment will see you take on a role giving you a significant ability to contribute to the smooth running, growth and process improvement of this FMCG, Export, Retail Distribution business who have just moved in to brand new HQ at Laverton. The role:
Reporting to the MD and working closely with the Sales Team, you will have sole responsibility for all statutory, accounting, reporting, reconciliation, and payroll processing activities including GL, Creditors/Debtors, BAS. GST, fortnightly Payroll, Superannuation, PAYG, A/P, A/R and month/year end activities. Some duties with regards to Export/Import may also be required. There will be no direct reports. Your ideas will be sought and welcomed about how to make the business grow through improving processes and systems. We are looking for:- at least 3 years experience within the Accounting Function within a FMCG, Retail, Logistics, Manufacturing or similar environment
- advanced skills in MS Excel and MYOB
- experience with processing a payroll of at least 8 - 10 staff
- very strong skills with completing BAS, GST, FBT, PAYG etc
- Australian Citizenship/Permanent Residency
- Resides close to the Laverton and have own vehicle
