National Engineering organisation located in a convenient, city fringe location, are on the lookout for an experienced Bookkeeper for a 6 month maternity leave contract. Reporting directly to the Manager and having the support of the Accountant in another State, this role will require a lot of autonomy and time management skills. Working a 37.5 hour week, in a small friendly team, this is a great opportunity to broaden your knowledge within a bookkeeping capacity. Duties will include - Bookkeeping including AP/AR using MYOB- Monthly cycle
- Payroll - Up to 25 employees fortnightly
- Bank Reconciliations
- Generating reports
- General Administration
You must be able to display the following; - Previous experience within a bookkeeping position
- Microsoft Office experience
- Excellent literacy and numeric skills
- Clear communication- writing, reading and comprehension
- An excellent work ethic
- Ability to adapt to all types on environments
- Working autonomously
- MYOB experience preferred
- Experience within the Building/Engineering Industries preferred but not essential
