Bookkeeper- Engineering Industry

National Engineering organisation located in a convenient, city fringe location, are on the lookout for an experienced Bookkeeper for a 6 month maternity leave contract. Reporting directly to the Manager and having the support of the Accountant in another State, this role will require a lot of autonomy and time management skills. Working a 37.5 hour week, in a small friendly team, this is a great opportunity to broaden your knowledge within a bookkeeping capacity.
 
Duties will include

  • Bookkeeping including AP/AR using MYOB- Monthly cycle
  • Payroll - Up to 25 employees fortnightly
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Generating reports
  • General Administration
You must be able to display the following;
  • Previous experience within a bookkeeping position
  • Microsoft Office experience 
  • Excellent literacy and numeric skills
  • Clear communication- writing, reading and comprehension
  • An excellent work ethic
  • Ability to adapt to all types on environments
  • Working autonomously 
  • MYOB experience preferred
  • Experience within the Building/Engineering Industries preferred but not essential
Offering up to $55,000 + Super and a great office environment, in return you will need to have energy, experience and enthusiasm. A handover will be available for the successful candidate.
