Job Description - Opportunity for a qualified Accountant to join the Corporate Accounting & Shared Services Division of Group Finance
- Reporting to the General Manager - Finance and ultimately Chief Commercial Officer
- Working closely with the Corporate Controller to whom you will report
- Take charge of banking and treasury, management accounting, taxation and financial reporting compliance
- Based in Perth
The Successful Applicant - Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 2 years PQE or 4 years in a finance/audit function
- Demonstrated knowledge of taxation compliance and reporting requirements
- Exposure to accounting standards and financial reporting frameworks
- Ability to identify key reporting issues and make recommendations on accounting approaches
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (especially excel) is essential
- Working knowledge of Pronto or ERP financial systems
- Ability to develop and maintain strong long term relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Capability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Honest open communicator with people management experience
