After undergoing significant growth, our client (a leader in the Not for Profit sector) has created a new position to strengthen and enhance their finance function as well as create efficiency and new initiatives within their organisation.
Reporting to and working closely with the Financial Controller, the Assistant Financial Controller's key responsibilities will involve:
- Assisting in audit coordination and production of statutory accounts
- Tax and workcover compliance
- Providing analytical support for financial tender submission reviews
- Undertake analysis of draft business plan financial information
- Review business case financials
- Lead the implementation of new initiatives across finance divisions
- Develop business advisory skills in finance divisions to support operational management
- Back filling for the Financial Controller when required
The successful applicant with possess the following:
- CA/CPA qualifications
- Large ERP exposure
- Strong background in financial analysis
- Commercial acumen with NFP experience
- Demonstrated experience as a Finance Manager/Financial Controller
- Ability to communicate with all levels including at Board level.
