Senior Accountant - Progress to Finance Manager

The Role:

This position will report to the Corporate Controller(based in the US) and will be responsible for all aspects of the APAC Regional Business Unit(s) finance function within that region. Some areas of responsibility will include (yet not be limited to):

  • Liaising with regional management to ensure P&L, working capital and cash flow are met or exceeded
  • Conduct and coordinate financial analysis
  • Ensure compliance with all business policies, procedures and controls
  • Accounting and controllership activities
  • Supporting all external/statutory audit requirements where needed
  • Provide financial guidance for all finance activities of the region/business unit, including budgeting and forecasting
  • Coordinate, maintain and manage the regional budgeting, forecasting and monthly variance analysis and communicate results to the Business Unit Manager
  • Assist with worldwide implementation of financial systems as needed to ensure successful launch and user acceptance

The Candidate:

  • Demonstrated accounting/finance experience in a multinational organisation
  • CPA and/or MBA qualifications
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (essential)
  • Experience with ERP implementations (beneficial)
  • Ability to work well in a team with a wide variety of personnel from multiple disciplines and countries
  • Ability to travel internationally (10-20%)
  • Knowledge and/or experience within the software industry (highly regarded however not essential)
