Your primary responsibility will be to lead and manage a team of accountants in the Expense and General Accounting team. This involves:

• Planning and leading ongoing reviews of business processes and systems based on Business Unit and Corporate models and industry references to optimise performance;
• Maintaining a company wide view, you will lead cross-functional teams in the design, development and deployment of analysis/ programs of work to deliver business requirements;
• Contribute to the development of the business plan, goals and measures; and
• You will oversee a medium sized finance team inspiring cohesion, process improvements and superior efficiencies.

CA/CPA qualified, you will have previous experience working in a big 4 or second tier accounting within the business services environment. One to two years exposure to industry, post chartered, would be looked upon favourably. A strong reconciliations background and well developed stakeholder management skills are critical for this role.

A demonstrated ability leading a team, coordinating activities and developing strategic directions - translating all into achievable action plans and outcomes - is vital. Knowledge of SAP is essential, particularly Payoff, GL and Point of Sale software.
