My client is a large, Australian focused, Mining Services business with projects ongoing with some of the Nation's leading Resources businesses.

With modern offices, a strong commercial pipeline and an established reputation in the market, they are looking for an experienced, technical accountant to join their growing Finance division.

Job Description

The role will encompass the following areas:

- Responsibility for all financial and management reporting to the immediate senior management team and the board.

- Assisting with managing a large finance team and a 'hands-on' remit to develop team members

- Consolidation of reporting results and management of this process through relevant managers

- Communicating reported results to the Board and Senior Management

- Assisting the CFO with regards to Finance matters.

The Successful Applicant

The role requires several key aspects as follows:

- Strong technical skill-set and extensive background with Group Accounting and Consolidating

- Strong communication skills and demonstrable ability to work in a high-pace environment

- Previous experience of resources or related industries will be advantageous.

- Strong experience across project related industries is highly regarded.

- Exposure to ERP based systems
