My client, a leading business services provider, has just experienced record profits, and substantial growth over the last 12 months. Listed on the ASX, this well established organisation is looking to appoint a qualified Management Accountant to manage the increased workload. Based in the heart of the CBD, this 6 month temporary position is available to start immediately. The Role

Reporting to the Commercial Director, this is a diverse business, giving you exposure to a wide variety of tasks. Shortly going through its budget process, you will be involved with budgeting and forecasting for multiple cost centres, labour costing, variance analysis and weekly and monthly management reporting for the board. You will be responsible for intercompany, general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations and assisting with various financial functions from time to time. There will also be some project work and ad hoc reporting for various divisions within the business.

Your Profile

You will be CA or CPA qualified with substantial experience in the services sector. There won’t be a lot of hand holding so you need show initiative and have an ability to fit in with a fast moving dynamic company. Due to the amount of reconciliation & reporting work advanced Excel skills are essential. Great Plains is the ERP used, but something similar will be considered. Clear communication skills are a must as you will liaise with numerous sites across Australia. For the right candidate, this role has the potential to go permanent down the track and will look at sponsorship.
