Are you looking for a role where you oversee the entire accounting function of a successful manufacturing plant?
This success story has built a business from scratch to be the market leader over the past 100 years across the world. They manufacture and distribute a range of products found in most Aussie homes. Due to expansion of the business and the impending implementation of SAP, they are looking to add an experienced Plant Accountant to the team for a period of 6 to 9 months.

The Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for managing all financial and management reporting for this site. This includes all monthly/quarterly/annual reports, as well as the budgeting, forecasting, and planning for this plant. You will maintain all costing and associated variance analysis, as well as looking at material usage & plant efficiency. You will also need to maintain the asset register and take on ad hoc projects, and unexpected demands. The current system used is MFGPro with Hyperion used for reporting. They are looking to implement SAP in the next few months.

Your Profile
You will ideally be CA/CPA qualified, and have reasonable experience as a Plant Accountant, or as a Management/Financial Accountant from a manufacturing environment. You must be a self-starter as the successful person must hit the ground running in this autonomous role. You will also be an extremely strong communicator as you will need to liaise on all levels throughout the business, at this site as well as others.
