A vacancy has become available for a Principal Financial Accountant to join a government department in a fast paced, dynamic team. This area has a wonderful culture - you will love working here. As the Principal Financial Accountant your core responsibilities will include:

• Preparing end of year financial statements

• Data sorting / manipulation to assist with reconciliations/ analysis

• Test new reports available for month end / year end reconciliations

To be successful in this role it is imperative you have highly developed IT skills (including Advanced in Excel), a Business/Commerce and CPA or CA qualification (or near completion). An analytical and enquiring mindset, with the ability to manipulate data is required. Previous experience working in a commercial environment is desirable.
