What you will be doing: They are currently looking for a Financial Accounting Manager to join and manage a team of finance professionals in the general insurance area. You will be reporting into a Financial Controller and will be responsible for a team of six, including two offshore employees. You will be responsible for the half year and full year financial statements for the General Insurance business as well as providing accurate General Ledger's for four entities. Accurate external returns and internal reports and maintenance of robust internal controls are also part of your remit. You will also initiate continuous improvements projects and contribute to the overall direction of finance.
