Our client is a unique Australian infrastructure company that builds, owns and maintains a combination of major electricity, gas and water assets. With a focus on future growth and sustainability, they operate nationally, specialising in the transmission and distribution of gas and electricity.

They are seeking a degree qualified Accountant with excellent knowledge of the FI/CO modules within SAP for a 50/50 systems & accounting based contract.

In this highly autonomous role you will ensure that internal stakeholder requests are managed effectively, master data is maintained and all month end processing and reporting is completed accurately and on time. You will also be responsible for budgeting and forecasting requirements, as well as process and systems analysis, development testing and contribution to any ad hoc projects.

To be successful you must be a self starter with strong systems accounting skills, demonstrated expertise utilising SAP and be technically savvy. A degree in Accounting, Commerce or Economics is essential; confident communication skills and good initiative to suggest improvements essential.
