Payroll Coordinator

This large and successful Professional Services Firm, which provides consulting services to their clients, now seeks an experienced Payroll Coordinator for this maternity leave contract.

Working in this busy role based in the CBD, you will take a key focus on the effective management of one of their client's payroll processing and related activities which will include:

  • Inputting payroll data
  • Sending finished payroll data to the client for approval
  • Preparing various payroll reports
  • Payroll and year-end reconciliations
  • Assisting with Superannuation administration
  • Assisting with salary packaging arrangements
  • Answering pay-related queries
  • Ad hoc project work as required

    This is a great opportunity for you if you already have relevant experience in an all-round Payroll position, which has been gained in a large environment. You will be highly confidential, have an outstanding level of accuracy along with excellent written and verbal communication skills, which are needed to liaise effectively with clients. This is a corporate environment so a high level of presentation is required and you will need to be available for an immediate start. Experience using a large payroll package such as Chris is essential.

    In return, you will be working in this small and friendly team and will be paid directly by the company, so you will earn entitlements for annual and sick leave. The hours of the role are structured for work/life balance and you will be on a weekly rotating roster between the hours of 8.30am and 6.30pm with the added bonus of being able to work from home on the Friday's that you are on the later shift.

    The successful candidate will be offered a salary of $50k + super.
