Based in Rhodes this leading Australian company is seeking a full function payroll officer to join it team.

Your role includes:

Ensure that there is appropriate preparation and processing of monthly and weekly payrolls.
- Accurate entry of payroll data.
- 2IC duties
- Maintenance and processing of Electronic Time Clocks on a daily basis.
- Termination and redundancy payments are processed accurately.
- Accurate maintenance and posting of general ledger entries.
- Maintenance and control of all leave entitlements and liabilities.
- Maintenance and update of all employees’ personnel records.
- Ensure that weekly, monthly and yearly payroll reconciliations are processed.

Ensure superannuation is compiled accordingly such application forms, calculations and

administrations of deductions, withdrawals and roll overs.
- Liaise with the payroll manager in regards to Workers’ Compensation payments and status.
- Able to understand and administer taxation laws in regards to salary and wages.
- Understanding and interpretation of Industrial Agreements and Legislation.
The successful candidate will:

At least two years experience in payroll (Complex and multi Company preferred).

Attention to detail and accuracy.

Knowledge of Industrial Agreements and Legislation.

Excellent communication skills
-
Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel).

Experience in the Neller Payroll Application or Computerised payroll application preferred but not necessary

Experience in the Kronos – Labour Management Application preferred but not necessary.
