Payroll Officer - Temp Contract 9 Months

Household Australian name require assistance within their Payroll function on a fixed term contract.
Your role will involve:
• an extensive background in Payroll (preferably with at least 5 years experience within a professional services or partnership environment);
• solid working knowledge of Chris 21 and ADP would be highly regarded;
• a strong knowledge of superannuation and PAYG tax requirements;
• a strong understanding of payroll related legislation and standards including award interpretation;
• the ability to maintain accurate records; and
• strong Microsoft Excel skills.
This position will involve managing the end-to-end payroll function for over 1000 employees.
Your duties will include:
• fortnightly, bi-monthly and monthly pay runs;
• management of superannuation and PAYG contributions;
• end of month processing;
• preparation of new starters and terminations;
• responding to staff payroll queries;
• preparation and payment of monthly Payroll
This role requires someone with professional written and oral communication skills. In addition, the applicant must demonstrate strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to complete tasks in a timely, accurate and co-ordinated manner.
