Import Inventory Planner

Our client delivers value added distribution and outsourcing solutions throughout Australasia. They are a leading supplier of a range of business to business consumable products.
 
A opportunity exists within the Imports division for a Import Inventory Planner who has extensive experience in a similar position with excellent knowledge and understanding of import inventory procedures. The main function will be to ensure stock is purchased and stock levels are maintained whilst maintaining an inventory level.
 
Reporting directly to the Import Inventory Manager, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following: Develop and maintain an accurate forecast to manage inventory to achieve high fill rates and balance stock levels at an acceptable level to the business.
Set tasks including daily monitoring and review of critical control reports, product set up and maintenance as well as other scheduled reporting and administrative functions.
 
Ideally you will possess a proven track record in inventory with a passion to succeed and excel. You will have a high level of analytical skills, strong interpersonal and influencing skills and a good team orientation with an enthusiastic view to further your career. Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in excel is essential.This is a great opportunity for you to work alongside experienced and committed individuals, developing new skills.
