Vacancy:
Due tostrategic growth our client has an opening for a Senior Business Development Manager within their Sydney based operation. As BDM you will be responsible for growing existing relationships, in addition to bringing on new business. You will be expected to add value to the front end process, taking the expression of interest from inception through to construction with assistance of an established team. You will be targeted with opening doors within the $10m-40m project value market. The role will be part of the senior management team with input into the future direction of the business. You will be heading up the Business Development team overseeing more junior employees. You will be responsable for liasing with the Estimating department and Directors to put together tender proposals once approved for the tender list.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will be an experienced BDM with an extensive background within the Construction / Building Sector. Applicants must have strong relationship building skills in addition to a solid understanding of the technical aspects of construction, and an existing contact book. You will have extensive relationships with clients within the commercial, aged care, commercialor industrial construction sector, that build projects of at least $15m. You will also have experience across the pre-construction phase putting together tender documents.
Rewards:
An excellent salary between $180k - $200k will be on offer for the successful candidate (depending on experience) in addition to a host of other benefits.
