My client requires a Senior Java / C++ Software Engineer to join a medium sized team to develop multiple products. You will have at least 4 years Java experience and be able to start work ideally in the next 2 weeks.

Main duties include the development of user-interface and component based distributed object oriented design models/software, design of component tests (unit and integration) and presentation of software developed according to specification.

Strong knowledge of the full development lifecycle is required including analysis, design, implementation, testing, documentation, build and release.

A challenging role within a fast paced working environment, you will be able to handle pressure and operate confidently with equally experienced software engineers. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are required to ensure you can liaise with all levels of the business.

Skill Summary:

• 2 -3+ years commercial software development experience
• 2 -3+ years Java programming including analysis, design, build & release etc
• 2- 3+ years C & C++ experience.
• Code and Unit test software
• Good knowledge of OS Concepts & Internals.
• Web Technologies & Javascript experience is a huge bonus.
• Written & Verbal Communication skills is a must.
