Our client is a leading service provider and is looking to take onboard Senior Platform Engineer to provide high level consultation services to business users. You will be working on enterprise systems andprovide technical expertise in data migrations across new storage and new server platforms and migrating data between data centres.

Responsibilities:

• Implementations and support of NAS / SAN solutions;
• Providing expertise across Enterprise specially UNIX, Windows, VMware and UCS

Technical Expertise:

• Strong background in implementation, configuration and administration of Storage Area Networks,
• Solid knowledge of CISCO MDS SAN switches including zoning and setup,
• Excellent understanding of IBM Enterprise disk, specifically DS8000 series
• Expertise in disk based cross site replication technologies and disk allocation
• Previous experience with data migration to new sites, server platforms and new disks is highly desirable,
• Exposure to HDS Enterprise Disk will be a bonus,
• Exposure to NAS Netapp appliances advantageous,
• Platform operating systems MVS, UNIX, NT experience,
• Platform software (CICS, MS office ) and system architecture
• Change and Problem Management, and
• Outstanding communication and consulting skills.
