A newly formed opportunity is available for an enthusiastic analyst looking to forge a career with a leading performer in the spatial industry.

The purpose of the role will be to contribute to the successful completion of mapping projects (ie rail, power, road) through the application of geomatic science.

Responsibilities of this role will be but not limited to:

• Review and analyse customer requirements
• Administer GIS data and develop processes and procedures for use in internal mapping and general IT applications
• Identify and help implement improvements to data administration processes
• Use GIS platforms (ESRI) and administer GIS data.

The successful candidate will have the following:

• Bachelor degree or equivalent in a related discipline
• 2 - 4 years experience in information technology and particularly GIS applications
• Practical experience and high level of understanding of ESRI products in particular ArcGIS, ArcCatalog, ArcSDE, ArcToolbox and 3D Analyst.
• Experience in working in a customer focussed organisation, providing internal and external customer service
• Understanding or experience using Laser scanning technology, in particular within the surveying or engineering stream.
