Our client is located in Perth, Western Australia. They require the services of a Maintenance Manager / Maintenance Superintendent for a residential based position in Perth for and immediate fulltime postion. The Role You will be reporting directly to the Maintenance and Engineering Manager and will be responsible for the operational leadership and supervision of the maintenance team. Developing, coordinating and maintaining the maintenance team and ensuring that all mobile equipment tasks are carried out in a safe and cost effective manner. You will be reporting directly to the the Plant manager and be responsible for supporting field staff. You will manage and maintain equipment to meet production and Plant requirements ensuring that safety, quality and customer service are not compromised. You will need to have competent financial management skills relevant mechancial trade qualifications and at least 8 years relevant experience. this will be preferrably within the civil/construction/mining area. - Liaise with suppliers to organise plant and equipment.
- Monitor progress against work schedule to identify issues
- Plan and schedule work and labour requirements to meet time commitments
- Preparation and management of budgets and cost control issues
- Continues improvement of maintenance systems and procedures
- Committed to safety and designee and improvement of safety systems.
Your previous experience and skills should include - 6-10 year experience in a similar role, significant supervisory experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of maintenance planning processes and long-term maintenance
- Knowledge of heavy industrial/mining maintenance process, practices and statutory requirements
- Identify and purchase maintenance spares
- Analyse data within computerised maintenance systems
- Implement condition-monitoring programs
- Produce annual operating and capital budgets
- Relevant engineering or trade qualifications
- Retain a national police clearance
